The young women in our ward adopted several of the older women in the congregation as their "Grandmas". Each month we use one of our activity nights to make a gift for them. This month we made Valentine's for them.
The inspiration came from one of my new favorite blogs, Little Birdie Secrets
(http://littlebirdiesecrets.blogspot.com/2009/01/just-little-more-than-month-until.html). Problem was, I couldn't find any heart shaped stryofoam wreaths. I did, however, find heart shaped solids.
It was really a fun evening. The girls worked in twos and it was cute to see them chatting and working. There was a moment when the other two leaders and I were afraid they weren't going to turn out (scissors that wouldn't cut the material) but the girls were awesome and the finished products were darling.

I'm sure the grandmas are going to love them.
